With the recent Decole shipment, I can safely say that I was overwhelmed with cuteness and inspiration! I absolutely LOVE their office and stationary collections because having something that is equally functional and cute is the best combination. Now on to the inspiration part of it… I wanted to put together a cute card/stationary DIY project using Decole’s cute merchandise! You can’t beat the hand-made look now can you?
Supplies:
1. Pencil
2. Bristol Paper
3. Cardstock Paper
4. Your favorite colored gel pen (I like navy blues and rich eggplant purple)
5. Ink pad (for your stamps)
6. Your choice in stamps (if they say “Thank You”, “Congrats”, etc.)
7. Glue (I prefer to use glue sticks, but its up to you!)
8. Decole’s envelope template
9. Scissors
10. Twine Ribbon
Part One: Envelope
Position the envelope template on top of cardstock paper. Trace the outline with a pencil and cut around the edges. Fold corners and glue to seal the edges. Decorate flap of envelope with the twine ribbon. Voila! You have your very own envelope.
Part Two: Card/Note
Using the scissors, cut the card/note from the bristol paper sheet to match size of the envelope, or so that when it folds it fits inside of the envelope. I chose to use bristol paper as the card/note because the paper is plenty thick to absorb any sort of ink without it bleeding through and lowers your chances of smudging!
Next choose your stamp! Whether you’re making a thank you card, birthday card, or just wanna add some cute art! Decole has a huge variety for you to choose from! I always think that sweet and simple always makes a large impact when designing a card. Keeping things minimalistic yet graphic makes your card really stand out and gives it that professional look.

Now for the fun part! Writing your very own special message for that special someone! With your gel pen, write anything your heart desires.
After its all said and the ink is dry, seal your note inside your envelope. Decole also carries a unique stamp that looks like the old wax ones!
